Chief Instructor Albert J. DiPentino was born on April 25, 1967 in Denver, Colorado. Adopted by his parents on the following Mother's Day, he is of Italian and German ancestry. Chief Instructor DiPentino began his martial arts career in July 1, 1985 where he began studying Chinese Kempo-Karate at the Highplains Branch of Universal Kempo-Karate Schools Association in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He received his Black Belt in 1989 and received his 6th Degree Black Belt in June 2004. Having grown up in the Universal System, he demonstrates a profound understanding of the concepts and techniques, fitting for his rank of 6th Degree - Chief Instructor. Chief Instructor DiPentino is a student of Professor Garland R. Johnson and Senior Chief Instructor Bridget L. Johnson. He is a martial arts tournament champion many times over in Point Sparring, Forms and Weapons. Chief Instructor DiPentino is one of the original members of the Universal Kempo Demo Team which is a world class martial arts show team that has performed in Europe, Asia, Canada, Central America and throughout the United States. Having been the past Head Instructor of both the Penrose and Rustic Hills Branches of Universal Kempo-Karate Schools, he is currently the Branch Manager for the Stetson Hills Branch. Chief Instructor DiPentino’s greatest fulfillment with the martial arts is enjoying teaching and helping the student who really needs help. He is devoted to the well being and education in assisting students of the martial arts to become effective leaders in society. |
